Welcome All once again to….~

Blessed Afternoon and welcome back to Telling Time with Scripture! Here’s my submission for today:

2 Samuel 3:36 ~ And all the people took notice of it, and it pleased them: as whatsoever the king did pleased all the people.

Amen & Amen! This gives me a brief reminder of whatever our leaders who God has chosen to carry out His work on the earth, we must be pleased by it. If we are not pleased with their works, that means they are not good leaders and they need to repent of their sins and come to Jesus. We see back then and even now there seemed to be more evil leaders than good one’s. But to be honest who does good? As David stated in one of his songs, there’s none that doeth good, no not one. That’s why God had to send Jesus to die for our sins. None of us were born righteous. All of us have sinned and come short of God’s glory. It’s only in Him and by His Spirit we now live righteous lives that pleases Him. We ought to please Him as He pleases us all the time with His wondrous works in heaven and the earth and in our lives for His name’s sake. He truly loves us and wants us to live and not die. ❤ 🙂

Maracas/Mount St. Benedict Trip!

Hallo, Wie gehts? *Hello, How are you?* German 🙂 This trip was a blessing and a lesson  as well alongside my bestie, her sister Denise, a family friend Awong and myself! We had originally planned to go Toco but God changed our plans and led us to go Maracas instead.

To be honest I was disappointed because of the change and during the week God was speaking to us and showing us where He wanted us to go instead but we weren’t seeing it until the day came and we learnt why He wanted us to go Maracas! I learnt that to go where God wants you to go and NOT where you want to go. Due to us repenting for our stubbornness and obedience to His guide, He blessed us with another trip surprisingly! Thank you Lord! You are great!

Maracas is known as one of the most picturesque bays on the islands due to several tourists that visited de island commentary, that’s located on the North Coast Peninsula of Trinidad. It’s one of the most popular beaches here and although before I had disagreed on it not being the most beautiful bay, I take that back!

Seeing it in real away from pictures on the internet is B R E A T H E T A K I N G ❤ My goodness! I never knew Trinidad was so scenic! What a blessed country God placed me to live in! It’s truly a gem friends. It. Truly. Is.

The road to the bay run through tall, hemispheric, mountains that overlooks the village of Maracas and also other bays that are private and separated from each other by mountains & valleys. Before you reach the beach location, there is a magnificent lookout that Dee and myself took pictures of on our way home…or so we thought! 😉

The tide was really high that day. 

If you look carefully, you’ll see a birdie high up in this palm tree!

The bay was very hospitable to us by offering us fresh fruits with a pinch of salt & sand! 😉 

This bridge on the beach takes you over the river that intersects/runs into the sea to a mini play park for the kiddies and vendors alongside the other end of the bay that sells sweet tasty, local delicacies and other treats! 🙂 It was worth crossing lol! 

Wherever you lead I’ll follow you Lord…. ❤ 

Each mountain is shaped as a different animal that separate the bays from the lookout. The first one, a turtle, second a dolphin and the third a crocodile! Do you see them? We did!

I would NEVER forget how strong the Lord’s presence, love & peace was felt here when I stared otherworldly at His majestic creations! I saw His greatness before my eyes and had to burst out in praises to the King ❤ God. Is. REAL!!!!

Uncle Sam’s bark and shark is de best! No lie allyuh! *I’m not lying you’ll/it’s the truth* Translation. You have to try it whenever you visit! It was so good! We Trini’s LOVE to have this as well as our international visitor’s whenever visiting Maracas! 😀

The glory of the LORD overshadows me wherever I go for His glory ❤ 

After capturing images, wailing constantly in ohs and ahs, discussing after lunch about the Lord and His Word, walking the large bay from beginning to end and from the end back to the beginning, trying to assist a guy with his phone camera, interrupting a wedding *somewhat* lol, pondering whether to bathe or not and well it was a lot of pondering we did and our feet decided to happily enjoyed the sea bathe instead for the body, so yeah 😥 lol we were sad about our departure buttttt little did we know that we were heading into another adventure, when we lately noticed that our route to home did not. Look. Familiar….!

When we questioned Awong and he told us Mount St. Benedict, we couldn’t be more excited for we always wanted to visit there! God is so good!

Mount St. Benedict is located in the Northwestern vicinity of  St. Augustine, Tunapuna on top of a very high, wining hill that overlooks the East/Southern side of Trinidad. It’s rich in history and also in beauty if you’d asked me 😉 it holds a church, school and other facilities. The drive was soothing and the views were stunning on our way there. We didn’t get much time to venture around/ take photo’s because service was going on and they were just about to close, but the 10-15 minutes was worth the panoramic view, tranquility & mediating on God’s Word that I saw operating in life before me… 

I’ll forever be chasing after you….. I’ll be chasing after you my Lord… ❤ 

Overall it was a blessed & enjoyable trip! We ended it with thanks to Almighty && purchasing de best tasting street food on de Avenue at night doubles! It was so good as per usual!

April Writing Challenge that I supposedly came across and decided to do….👀😁

Hi All,

😂 oh boy! My bestie Diana had send through this writing challenge along with another MORE THAN OVER AN ENTIRE YEAR and some days, weeks, minutes and seconds in between of course! 🤣 Annnndddd I’m now coming across to getting it done due to finding it back on my flash drive.

I haven’t done some challenges for quite a while now and of course it’s due to my rather busy schedule that I’m still finding ways of balancing out ONLY by the help and grace of God that I need to solely rely and continue to depend on. 💛

So without further ado let me jump right into these questions that were asked per this challenge!

 

1   I won’t consider it my biggest dream but since it ties with God’s purpose for my life then it is but I won’t allow it and I pray to Him that it never does take His first place in my life; that’s starting an business for the sake of His glory. ❤  

2 Heaven is my original home but I consider France my other home from home cause I’ve always wanted to visit it! It’s so beautiful and I love the culture, sites and everything else about it, ever since I was a teenager. 🙂 

3 LIFE!!!!! ❤ 

 

4 Hmmm… God-fearing, respect, kind, patience, trustworthy, understanding. I believe these are the main one’s for me. 

5 Doubting myself, but with God’s help and mercy I’m getting there day by day. It’s much better than before. It always get better with Grace ❤ 

6 Becoming more bold, honest and courageous. 

7 LOL! I actually feel good today haha! Although my brain feels a little clustered but it’s all good. 

8  We love JESUS  a lot. 💛  Haha we have a major crush on France haha, also love writing, travelling and….whoops! I crossed the limit! Sorry but I had to list an extra one. 😉

9 Oh wow I wasn’t expecting this but here we go. I’ll moreover consider it my testimony. Well I derive from the lovely tropical twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago and I grew up in the Lord but never had a relationship with Him. It’s one thing to know about God and it’s another when you live for God. I had stopped attending church from around the age of  10 or 11 and strayed away for quite a very long period until I was around 16 years when me and my fam had visited once and never returned again up until the year 2015. Long story short I knew God was calling us back to Him when we had returned to His sanctuary in that year for my godmother told me, “Don’t stop coming. Come again.” And we did continued until my sister Esther and I both got baptized in the year of 2016 and our life’s have NEVER been the same again. Living for the world is nothing. Living for Christ is everything. ❤ 

10 A LOT  both locally and internationally. Haha! It’s too much to list. 

 

11 I’m not a fan of fame and to be honest it’s not that important to me at all whatsoever.  All fame belongs to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! ❤ 

12 In this side of life there will never be such as perfect day’s but what make’s my day perfect is knowing that I have the GREAT God of ages by my side and knowing how much He loves me always make’s it perfect. ❤ 

13 By seeking my Father about them first. If I don’t I’ll choose that which He didn’t want for me and that can lead to regretful cases, which I had to learn from of course. 

14 Considering others instead of yourselves. Treating them with respect and patience. That’s the best I could have done haha! 😁

15 The Bible, olive oil, food, water, clothing, pen, flash drive, hair clip, rubber band and  phone. 

16 I have no idea! I guess I overuse all the words on regularly basis. 😂

17 Ahhh, what is a pun again? Lol oh a comical play on words or something like that?  I son’t have none of my own right now so I’ll share a few I found really funny from off the internet from this site https://examples.yourdictionary.com/examples-of-puns.html

20 To be honest not really cause everyday we get a glimpse of how the future will look like which is not going to be so bright after all but for those of us who are in Christ have a greater one to behold and to look forward to with our Maker! ❤ 

21 By daily showing the love of God to them by my life style as His child. 

22 Hmm oh wow, I can’t recall right now to be honest. 

23 Is laughing concerned one? I’m always quick to laugh out loud cause I love laughing A LOT! So I guess that’s concerned easy for me to do always. 

24 Read your Bible pray everyday and you will grow, grow, GROW! *this is very true* 📖✔

25 Happiness is JESUS ❤ 

26 Very organized but it get’s messy when not organized ha! 😉 

27 Haha I get compliments daily from my blessed Mom and strangers but one that really stuck with me recently was, “You’re a strong woman.” I didn’t responded to the person for I choose not to at that moment as I pleasantly smiled saying to myself I can stand strong because of GOD and not be on my own or of myself at all whatsoever. My strength is weak and temporal, His own is strong and eternal! ❤ 

28 Lol, where I want to be as in now? Ah, I guess nowhere. I love where I am with my Savior now ❤ and where I continue to go with Him. 

29 When I got baptized back in 2016! It was DE happiest moment of moments ever hahaha! ❤ 

30 Ahaha, I both like texting and calling but would prefer texting overall.

Blessed Goodnight Family! 🙂

I don’t really like featuring myself on the blog that much for I don’t want to draw ANY attention to me nor for the focus to be on me. As I say it’s NEVER going to be about me.

 

GOD forever will get the glory in all areas of this blog that belongs/and has been inspired by Him for Him. I do like taking images of myself, but I don’t glorify myself. I love taking care of me and I love me.

 

When I look at me now from who I was before when I was lost and dead in sin, I see Jesus. I see who I really I’m and who He created me to be. Hence the reason why I choose to display the joy He has given me through each image I snap of me whenever I do *which is rarely* so that all can see who lives in me and what He has done for me! ❤

I really enjoyed producing these and they came out quite excellent! Haha! 😉

Dinner Date for ahhhh….me?

I like treating myself and when I do, I love doing it pretty well 😉 This date was lovely! I really enjoyed it! I added chocolate wafers by Bridge with a toffee by Diana *not by my bestie Diana from La Petite Muse okay! Haha! 😛 * it’s a local candy company here on de islands Hahaha!!! Oh my that was funny! 😀 This flavour wasn’t the one I wanted but I accepted it with a yes just for Haägen-Dazs sake! 

 

Meet my new babies Rose and Rosa!

I was so blessed and contented when my neighbor decided to bless me with these lovely flower plants! These images I captured of them are not recent for they have grown tremendously and even have their own babies now! 😥 ! My gosh! Where have my plants gone?!!! They grow up TOO fast. Any who’s moving away from that fact, lol allow me to bless you with my Father’s grandeur! ❤ 

This is Rose! She sends out these cute pink and yellow centered flowers that dries up after a day. She loves sleeping early and running in the tails of the breeze. She’s very quiet like myself as well and a type of ants we call bac-chack on de islands is attracted to her. They never came around her though and that’s good lol 😉 

That piece of wood you see to the back of her stem, my mom placed there to hold her up for she was weak and fragile to stand in the ground of the soil. God taught me a lesson where this is concerned. In this spiritual journey at times we get very weary and we reach to that place where we are unable to stand strong in the Lord and the power of His might, which is eternal. We need the brace *the prayer support, encouragement from others in the body* to stand and fight the good fight of faith again. We can’t fight all the fights on our own. That’s why we need each other in one way or another. Just as Rose needed that wood to stand so that she can grow and has grown beautifully. ❤ 

This is Rosa! Her sister! She is a big eater and do not like to sleep at all whatsoever! She loves waving her hands a lot in the wind and births a beautiful yellow and maroon centered flower, that hasn’t come out as yet, but in due time with her Creator. I can’t wait to see it! 

 God taught me through this plant. Patience increase as you wait for my reward. Though I haven’t seen her flower yet but I know that I will see it blossom one day. And that’s faith exercised in great measure from the Treasure within me. Jesus ❤ gosh I love Him so much! Just because you don’t see that house, car, daughter, son, wife, husband, passport, visa, ministry, school or whatever you are waiting on the Lord for, doesn’t mean that it’s never going to come. It already has. You just have to allow His patience to increase over you as you wait in Him for His reward to come forth like a flower in your life!

Well…here I am once again not recalling what awards the blog was nominated for and yet responding to them so…very…LATE. Yes, I’m still working on that and thank you for forgiving me once more! ❤ 🙂

1 What’s an important lesson you’ve learned in life? 

To be patient and allow God to direct you ALWAYS! Don’t do nothing out of the will of Christ for your life. ❤ 

2 What is a good book you’ve read? 

I LOVE reading it everyday and that’s the Word of God! The Bible ❤ Its not just a “good book” its DE GREATEST BOOK!  

3 What is your favorite characteristic about yourself? 

I’ll say my humor haha! 😀 

4 What are your hobbies? 

I don’t consider them hobbies but God-given talents that are used for God’s honor and glory. That is singing, dancing, writing,acting, designing etc. 

5 Why did you start blogging? 

To minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world through art and quotes but God is using it in GREATER ways for his honor and glory! I would always say thanks to my sis in Christ/bestie Dee for always pushing me to start a blog. ❤ 

6 What topics, if any, have you wanted to write about but haven’t because you feel your “fan base” would not approve? 

 First  things first…I don’t write to please man. I write to please God and for the lost to know that they can be found in Christ Jesus. I have no fans and I don’t see my family on here as fans. They are family. ❤ All of us have fans that are workable in our homes right? They blow good breeze don’t it? 😉 

7 Are you married or single, kids or no kids? 

HAHA! I once was and still is in the fiction world of course! 😀 but in reality NOPE! I’m happy  to be single. 🙂 

8 What are you passionate about and why? 

To follow Jesus where ever He leads me for His will to be done! And why? Because man needs to come back to there first love Jesus Christ. ❤ He loves us so much. Hell is real. He doesn’t want ANY to perish but to have everlasting life through Jesus Christ by receiving Him as their personal Lord and Savior. Jesus died setting all humanity free from sin. None of us was worthy to pay that price for our salvation in Christ accept JESUS CHRIST. ❤ 

9 What is your favorite food? 

I love DUMPLINGS! I can eat it with anything without anything too and it tastes so good! We here on de islands love adding something extra to our dumplings like ginger, sugar, cornmeal etc. I love adding sugar to mines whenever I make it with saltfish. ❤ 

10 What is one of your favorite memories? 

Being baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost! Thank you Jesus for saving me! I’m nothing without you my Lord! ❤

11 If you could wake up in the morning in a different place, where would that place be? 

France, Morocco, Jerusalem or Switzerland ❤

It once was my fav when I was a movie addict, from the movie Forest Gump. “Life is like a box of chocolate Forest. You never know what you gonna get.”

Not regularly. I scheduled my posts from months before so that I won’t be on the blog daily. I do have a lot of other duties to attend to away from the blog. I try not to make it become an idol.

Are you still in love with Jesus?

6 If you could live anywhere where would that be? 

In my Father’s house there’s a place for me that He has prepared. In the new heaven and earth ❤ that’s in my eternal home/ life after this life. But on earth… Switzerland ❤

To bring the lost, battered, blind and hurting to Jesus Christ and those who already believe & received Him as their personal Lord and Savior closer to His heart! 🙂
