INTRODUCING TTARTISTS LOCAL ART PLATFORM

Hi Blog Family! Good Afternoon from the sweet isles !

Hope all is well in Jesus name.

From you all that started following the blog from the inception you would know that initially GOD inspired me to open focusing on art pieces that show forth His glory and to spread His word as well.

Its been years now the LORD had laid on my heart to open an business that covers all the creative skills He has loaned to me for His work and I have been like Jonah. I was only running further and further away from such due to my lack of confidence, consistency and most of all FEAR to simply just START.

The more I ran is the more He sent me more confirmations and convictions.

I really couldn’t take it anymore and I decided to surrender to that call. Trust me it was not easy breaking free from what I had allowed to held me back for those years and I thank God for using my loved ones and best friend to really push me to just START.

With that being said the business page was opened up last year July and not too long after I was told about joining a local artist platform on IG called ttartists by another artist who told me about it and encouraged me to join! I know this was GOD cause I got confirmation that same said day before the artist told me about it!

I joined and about four months after the founder Jaiye called me with news I really wasn’t expecting but at the same time I should have expected it because GOD continues to be GOD and let me tell you something He truly blesses your labour!!

Oh wait I just realized I didn’t announced what the news was 😮…..

Anywho’s….she asked if I was interested in joining the Team as an Brand Ambassdor for the ttartists platform as it was heavy on her heart to ask and from noticing how much I loved encouraging each artists! I was like ….

Hahahhahahaha I just had to to add that in I really can’t help my humorous side!

So I joined and bless GOD always and decided to use the blogging platform to share, advertise the beautiful art our twin island Trinidad and Tobago has to offer to our country, regionally and also internationally too as well! Its also to encourage our local artists to join the art platform to build their confidence, have their art showcased at exhibitions both locally and internationally, help promote their art, help their art sell and allow their art to be introduced and showcased at local pop up shops and SO much more!!!

She really is a blessing and such a passionate, encouraging, assistful, hardworking lady that really pushes us as local artists to grasp the opportunities that’s being provided through the platform to not only to grow our art bases but to help build us to be better.

Invisible…. But Alive!

Haha! Oh my! I love laughing at myself with myself about myself. Lol that’s quite difficult to comprehend right? 😉 not so.

Goodnight family! How is everyone doing?

I know I’ve been MIA from the blog world for some some months and counting now and I’m sure/know many of you have been concerned *as seen in the comments* about this absence and I’m very blessed and thankful for you love and appreciation a lot as per usual and I’m here to briefly explain why.

God has blessed me with a new job that has come with a very large duty, that I didn’t even see myself doing.

Before obtaining this big blessing last year around mid November I was fired from a job God blessed me with after only working there for a month and a few weeks I waited 2 entire years for, for no reason.  I felt so broken and was in a place of spiritual depression again.

I started questioning the Lord about it, but He revealed the answer to me not too long after. That job was used as the training grounds for what He was preparing to send me after for His will to be fulfilled. It was a setback for the comeback.

I had to grow through the refining fire before I stepped over unto the comeback line. I learnt other lessons from my short time of serving there, that were tough and pretty painful, but through it all God brought me through it all and I’m happy for His seed that was planted in the heart of men.

I was home for two months after receiving the job *I’m currently at* I had applied for last year, but wasn’t called for, that He told me to go and reapply for this year. 🙂 And I got through all thanks and praises to GOD! I bless Him also for my prayerful & supporting Mom, sister, bestie *Diana* and a few others and you guys that have kept me in your thoughts & prayers unknowingly. ❤

So far, I’m continuing to settle in and my Father has taught me how to commit everything to Him that I do and to trust Him and He will help me. *Psalm 37:5 look up* And so far He has helped me and continue to as I continue to commit everything that I do to Him prior the job. Another lesson that He is teaching me is longsuffering. How to suffer long. One of the fruits of the Holy Spirit that I knew I was not bearing.

It’s been really hard for me when I had first started out. I felt like I was drowning in the deep. Anxiety, uncertainty, doubt, fear, confusion started to grab hold of me and my thoughts on every side. I was going to give up and quit the job immediately as went straight to His feet in a sorrowful state as He comforted me by and through His Word. He also reminded me why He has sent me there and why this job was given to me.

I repented for being ungrateful and for not relying on Him to help me. I’m at a much more better place now as He continues to train my hands to war and my fingers to fight. I continue to be tried and face persecution for His name sake that causes me to rejoice cause I know it still cannot be compared to the glory of the Father that will be revealed in me. ❤

I work pretty long hours and reach home most times in the night when I choose to stay back to cover extra work, hence the reason why for my non presence here. I have not retired from this ministry yet. I have not forgotten about you all here. I just need the time to balance out the physical and spiritual work accurately.

Whenever I put in my appearance that’s when I get a little free time during the week, on a holiday where we don’t go out to work or on the weekend. I’m slowly catching up on reading blogs thus far.

But I’m alive and so is my family and I still love and live for JESUS, just in case you were concerned about that too. 😉 Continue to lift your sister in prayers as I continue to lift you all in mines.  Let’s continue to lift all the nations as well in our prayers.

These are very serious and cruel times we are living in brothers and sisters, that God forewarned us about in His Word to come that is all climaxing very rapidly. Soon and very soon we ARE GOING TO SEE THE KING! ❤ Those without Him come to Him now. Those who are in Him get to know Him more, get your heart’s in order, hold on and let’s continue to take the gospel around the world! ❤

One out of my fav local artiste from my home islands for he sings about the daily trials one faces as a follower of Christ. We all have a testimony and a story to tell about God’s saving grace and goodness over our life’s. God is sooooooooooo good and he truly deserves to be glorified highly! 

Since this song is about testimonies let me testify real quick! I was 16 years old when I was stung by a beetle I didn’t even know I was allergic to. My entire body was covered in red itching and stinging rash! I felt as if my body was engulfed in FIRE! My face was swollen so badly, I couldn’t even see that clearly and my eyes were concealed under the swollen skin due to the venom of that insect. I was rushed to the hospital and immediately was sedated with I think was insulin or some very strong ascetic that caused my heart to beat so fast. The doctors couldn’t even find my vein for they said my skin was too thick for back then I was more solid than I am now, so I was injected THREE times! Yes, three! 

That night, I was placed in a room with two other patients. I wasn’t saved yet but I had always believed in God and always had very strong FAITH in Him. I knew I was dying. I said to myself well this is it. I’m going to die. I know I was between life and death for while I laid on that bed and prayed profoundly I felt my spirit slowly departing from my body and instantly I saw a huge hand stretching down out of a white cloud and my hands was reaching up towards it very slowly…it was such a beautiful moment and sight to see, and I still recall up to this day! 😀 

As I reached closer to hold unto his hand, I felt so peaceful and just you know like really free from EVERYTHING life had thrown at me from that tender age! I never felt that way before! But then his hand disappeared and my eyes opened. It was like he was saying to me back then, not now my child…I’m not ready for you yet. And now today  after 6 years I’m here alive and well and living for Him! How amazing is my GOD! Now I see why he wasn’t ready for me back then 😀 WOW! He’s really the AUTHOR of my story! ❤
